Pendleton extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping them down to 1-4. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Daniel Lions. On the bright side, the 61- point performance marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring contest to date.

Despite the loss, Pendleton had strong showings from Joshua Keith, who went 7-for-11 on his way to 16 points and seven boards, and Samuel Ross, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 15 points. Amari Watts also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

As for Daniel, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since January 31st.

Daniel's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Swan, who posted 17 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Conley, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards.

Coming up, Pendleton will be playing in front of their home fans against Wade Hampton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Daniel, they will venture away from home to face off against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
