Yampiel Chavez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. He is becoming a predictor of Forest Hill's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 10-12 when he doesn't).
