Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dk Winn, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Aj Brown was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Stephens County's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Elbert County, they bumped their record down to 4-11 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
