The Penns Manor Comets suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 72-42 loss at the hands of United. If Penns Manor hoped to take revenge for the 75-41 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Penns Manor's loss came despite strong showings from Alex Polenik and Amin Lieb. Polenik scored 16 points along with seven rebounds, while Lieb scored nine points along with ten rebounds.
Penns Manor has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for United, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
Penns Manor will be playing in front of their home fans against Northern Cambria at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for United, they will head out on the road to challenge Homer-Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
