The Tri-Village Patriots had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They took down Arcanum 46-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Tri-Village also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Arcanum lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alexis Gibbons, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Miller, who scored six points.
Tri-Village's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Arcanum, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Village will square off against Ansonia at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ansonia will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 461st, while Tri-Village is ranked 140th). As for Arcanum, they will head out on the road to face off against Mississinawa Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mississinawa Valley will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
