While Parkway South has struggled on the road with three straight losses , that wasn't the case on Monday thanks to Jack McClanahan. The Patriots had just enough and edged out the St. Pius X Lancers 3-2 for which the team can thank McClanahan, who had 28 digs and two aces. He has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last five times he's played.

Parkway South took St. Pius X into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-23, 25-13, 22-25, 15-13.

Parkway South's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for St. Pius X, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkway South will welcome Lutheran South at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Pius X, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
