Baseball Recap: Lindbergh Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Lindbergh won the last time they faced Parkway Central and things went their way on Monday too. The Flyers came out on top against the Colts by a score of 9-4.

Luke Steiner looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Ethan Cantareira was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Luke Seiler was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

Lindbergh hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parkway Central struck out seven times.

Lindbergh has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-11-1 record this season. As for Parkway Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindbergh will face off against Northwest at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Flyers are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Parkway Central, they are taking a road trip to face off against St. Francis Borgia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Colts surely won't give up without a fight.
