Good Hope had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Curry Yellowjackets with a sharp  11-2 victory. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered  a  7-1  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Carter Naramore made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. That's the fewest  hits  he has allowed since back in February of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news, Good Hope got a  massive  performance out of  Mason Drake, who  scored four  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave  Drake a new career-high in  stolen bases.  Kane Anderson was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Good Hope  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Curry onlymanaged six  hits.
 Good Hope wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  19-0  win against Asbury on the 22nd. As for Curry, they have also  already played their next matchup,  a  15-2  victory against Winston County on the 18th.
