Fort Osage extended the longest winning streak in Suburban - White this week by beating Raytown, 48-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Staley suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 48-6 loss to Staley. The Falcons had been ranked 14th, but fell to 34 following the defeat.
Staley's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Trent Hosick threw for 274 and six touchdowns and Faizol Bouchard had 77 yards receiving. On the ground Kahluna Bouchard chipped in 80 yards. Dalton Parks helped Staley's passing attack out by catching one ball for 50 yards.
Staley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hosick has thrown for 903 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Bouchard has 19 catches for 248 yards. Hosick also leads the league in rushing with 616 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Fort Osage takes on Fred Bouchard's team. At the moment, Eric Holmes's team is in first, while the Falcons are in third.
There should be lots of points scored when the Indians and Staley face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Fort Osage comes in having scored 130 this season, while the Falcons have scored 185. The Indians scored 48 points last week as they bested the Bluejays.
North Kansas City and Chrisman played the most hotly contested game in Suburban - White this week, with North Kansas City eventually emerging with a 21-18 victory.
