Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
A Season-Best Effort from Reese Price Leads Wren over Fountain Inn
On Friday, Wren got the W thanks in part to Reese Price playing the best football he has all season. Price rushed for 206 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 107 or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Price might just drop another big game when he faces off against Southside on Friday. Price rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Tigers duked it out back in October of 2023.
