On Saturday, Butler are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Van Horn at 1:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Butler couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-28 punch to the gut against Adrian last Friday. Butler were down by 0-22 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Van Horn took care of business in their home opener. They captured a comfortable 24-6 win over East.
Van Horn's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Butler's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Van Horn can add another positive mark to their record or if Butler can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Van Horn's step.
