The Liberty Christian Academy Knights will take on the Antioch Christian Academy Gators at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Antioch Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.
Liberty Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Falcon Christian Academy as Liberty Christian Academy made off with a 16-4 victory. Considering the Knights' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Mason Burns made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Burns was even better at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
In other batting news, Joshua Brooks made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Liberty Christian Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Antioch Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
