Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cristo Rey Philadelphia). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Life Center Academy Warriors 81-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Blue Pride have posted against the Warriors since January 28, 2023.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rasheem Yon, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 15 points in addition to eight assists and three steals. Yon is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted eight or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gardy Etienne, who posted ten points and five boards.

Cristo Rey Philadelphia is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Life Center Academy, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cristo Rey Philadelphia will face off against Friends Select at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Life Center Academy, they will take on Phelps at 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Life Center Academy is facing Phelps at the right time seeing as Phelps is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
