The Franklin County Wildcats have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They snuck past Shoals with a 31-27 victory on Wednesday.
Franklin County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Quinn Gilman, who scored four points along with four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Vanoven, who scored six points.
Franklin County's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Shoals, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
