Viewmont posted their biggest win yet this season on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Clearfield as Viewmont made off with a 77-54 victory. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Viewmont had established a 20 point advantage.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Viewmont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Max Larsen, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Larsen has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Weaver, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Roy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of Box Elder by a score of 59-56. The matchup was a 29-29 toss-up at halftime, but Roy was outscored by Box Elder in the second.
Viewmont pushed their record up to 5-11 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game. As for Roy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
