Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was MAYSON THOMAS, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. THOMAS hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. AIDAN MADRIGAL was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Pieper struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Wagner's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lance Johnson, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trevaun Clark, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Pieper bumped their record down to 17-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Wagner, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.
Pieper will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Veterans Memorial at 6:30 p.m. Veterans Memorial is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 21 games.
