Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Tallwood brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They were the clear victor by a 10-3 margin over Green Run on Monday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Tallwood has managed all season.
Tallwood also got a great performance from Bryce Newell as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk).
