It was a good run, but The Hillcrest Jaguars unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by Daphne 50-18. While losing is never fun, Hillcrest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while Daphne is ranked 39th).
Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Daphne, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Hillcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Daphne will head out on the road to face off against Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Enterprise is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
