Michael O?Connor Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Easton's Michael O?Connor, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. O?Connor rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also threw for 140 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (101.5).

Decatur Wins 22nd-Straight Thanks to Vernon Deshields Iii
Decatur picked up their 22nd consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Vernon Deshields Iii. Deshields Iii turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Decatur's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Deshields Iii and Decatur will venture away from home to face off against Parkside at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Davin Chandler and Co. Win 22nd in a Row
Decatur picked up their 22nd consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Davin Chandler. Nobody could stop Chandler as he picked up 76 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 55 yards.
On the season, Chandler has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 49.8 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 17.75 receiving yards per game.
