The LaFayette Bulldogs waltzed into their contest Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 48-41 win over Reeltown. That's another feather in the cap for LaFayette, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Deaundra Vines, who scored 18 points along with six assists and five steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. Branaviyun Story was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten rebounds.
LaFayette has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Reeltown, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
LaFayette will be playing at home against Horseshoe Bend at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Horseshoe Bend will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 277th, while LaFayette is ranked 132nd). As for Reeltown, they will head out on the road to face off against Lanett at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
