Despite their defeat, Clarkdale saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Connor Mcdill, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Lane Creel was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Scott Central earned a 54-46 victory over Lake last Saturday.
Clarkdale bumped their record down to 9-11 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Scott Central, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
