Sandusky's six-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 70-39 victory over Seneca East at home. Sandusky's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Mae Rameau continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her. Khiya Rameau was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Perkins entered their tilt with Mansfield Senior with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Perkins walked away with a 57-46 victory over Mansfield Senior on Tuesday.
Sandusky's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-5. As for Perkins, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Sandusky came up short against Perkins in their previous matchup back in January, falling 51-40. Can Sandusky avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
