Louisburg lost to Chanute back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Blue Comets with a sharp 11-3 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Louisburg's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Chanute, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Louisburg will venture away from home to square off against Eudora on Tuesday. The last three games the Cardinals have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Chanute, they will take on Independence on Tuesday. The Blue Comets are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
