Basketball Recap: Londyn Tatum Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Gainesville

Potter's House Christian won the last time they faced Gainesville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Potter's House Christian Lions managed a 64-59 win over the Gainesville Hurricanes. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Potter's House Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Londyn Tatum, who went 5 of 7 on her way to 17 points. Tatum continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alanna Tatum, who posted ten points and seven steals.

Potter's House Christian pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Gainesville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potter's House Christian will face off against DME Academy Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Potter's House Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season. As for Gainesville, they will square off against Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
