Fort Collins' win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. Rhya Cano was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with four steals.
Fort Collins has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Loveland, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Fort Collins and Fossil Ridge will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Fossil Ridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Fort Collins is ranked 17th). As for Loveland, they will head out on the road to take on Erie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Erie focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Saturday.
