Red Bay was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Brooks on Monday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 14-2 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Ayden Pruitt made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs.

In other batting news, Red Bay let Riley Carpenter and Carson McGee run wild. Carpenter got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI, while McGee went 1-for-3 with four runs and one RBI. Those four runs gave McGee a new career-high. Jeremiah Thorne was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

The win snapped Red Bay's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-4 record. As for Brooks, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Red Bay will head out to square off against Phil Campbell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brooks, they will venture away from home to take on White Plains at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
