If Greater Lawrence Tech were expecting to get some payback for the 0-43 defeat against Swampscott the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. Greater Lawrence Tech and Swampscott were almost perfectly matched up on Saturday, but Greater Lawrence Tech suffered an agonizing 20-21 loss. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Greater Lawrence Tech off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Swampscott a 1-0 record.
Next week Greater Lawrence Tech take on Austin Prep at Father Seymour Fld. at 7:00 PM. As for Swampscott, they will face off against Triton Regional.
