Basketball Recap: Keystone Extends Winning Streak to Four

While Keystone didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Moniteau Warriors 61-41 on Tuesday. That looming 61-41 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

The win (which was Keystone's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Moniteau, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Keystone Panthers duke it out with the Clarion-Limestone Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Moniteau, they will head out on the road to take on Cranberry Area at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Cranberry Area knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Moniteau likes a good challenge.
