The ASPIRA Charter Wolves posted their biggest victory yet this season on Wednesday. Everything went their way against First State Military Academy as ASPIRA Charter made off with a 57-34 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for ASPIRA Charter.
It was another big night for Zy'aire Gibson, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of ASPIRA Charter's points. Another player making a difference was Victor McLeod, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
ASPIRA Charter's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for First State Military Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. ASPIRA Charter won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Freire Charter School Wilmington at 5:00 p.m. on January 25th.
