The Troy Trojans''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 35-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of C.H. Yoe. The game was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but Troy was outscored by C.H. Yoe in the second.
Despite the loss, Troy still got an impressive performance from Joseph McMurty, who threw for 382 yards and four touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Reed Ketcham, who picked up 146 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
C.H. Yoe's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braylan Drake, who threw for 239 yards and four touchdowns. Ja'quorius Hardman was another key contributor, picking up 183 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Troy has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for C.H. Yoe, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.
