The Lourdes Catholic Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 71-33 defeat at the hands of Patagonia. Lourdes Catholic has struggled against Patagonia recently, as their matchup on Monday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Patagonia got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Ruiz out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Diego Carranza, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Lourdes Catholic's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-6. As for Patagonia, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lourdes Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind at 5:30 p.m. on December 19th.
