Football Recap: Dezrihana Medina and Loursenie Pascal Secure Win for Nova

With a playoff win on the line, Nova rose to the challenge on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cooper City Cowboys with a sharp 27-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won eight matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Nova's receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by Loursenie Pascal and Dezrihana Medina. Pascal picked up 68 receiving yards and a pair of TDs while Medina threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes. Medina didn't just play on offense: she also made six total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Nova didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Chanel Brown and Medina. Brown has been hot recently, having also posted at least one defended passe the last four times she's played.

Nova has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Cooper City, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Nova has already played their next game, a 13-7 loss against Boyd Anderson on the 16th. Cooper City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
