The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wewoka, who took down 174th ranked Elmore City-Pernell, 33-8.
Wayne extended the longest winning streak in A District 5 this week by beating Caddo, 49-6. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Bulldogs.
Wynnewood's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Gus Reinert threw for 106 and two touchdowns and Pete Carter had 58 yards receiving. On the ground Trey Knowles chipped in 139 yards. Reinert helped Wynnewood's passing attack out by catching one ball for 48 yards.
Wynnewood's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Savages feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jace Brown has thrown for 435 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Carter has seven catches for 223 yards. Knowles leads the league in rushing with 602 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Savages take on the Badgers. Wynnewood is in first place, while Elmore City-Pernell is in fifth place.
Brad O'Steen's team took down Maysville 58-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Reinert in the win.
