Bourne lost to Fairhaven the last time the two teams met, but they didn't allow Fairhaven the same satisfaction this time around. Bourne put the hurt on Fairhaven with a sharp 47-19 win. Bourne were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Bourne's record up to 4-1. The defeat dropped Fairhaven's record to 2-3.
Next week Bourne take on Seekonk at 7:00 PM. Seekonk took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Bourne's good fortune. As for Fairhaven, they will face off against Old Rochester Regional. Old Rochester Regional are cruising in on a five-game winning streak.
