The Owens Valley Cubs lost against the Big Pine Warriors back in December of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Owens Valley was the victim of a tough 55-32 loss at the hands of Big Pine. Owens Valley has not had much luck with Big Pine recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Leading Big Pine to victory were Jayden Barlow and Adam Miller. Barlow scored eight points, while Miller scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. Damien Hottendorf was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Owens Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Big Pine, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7.
Owens Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Baker at 3:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Big Pine, they will head out on the road to challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
