The Stargate School Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Stargate School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
Stargate School pushed their score all the way to 60, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Peak to Peak.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Connor Rusch, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. Hunter Roark was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Eagle Ridge Academy had to suffer through a rough 92-43 loss at the hands of Kent Denver. Eagle Ridge Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 66-23.
Stargate School's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Eagle Ridge Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
Stargate School suffered a grim 83-62 defeat to Eagle Ridge Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Stargate School avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
