R-S Central will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Patton in at 7:30 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against R-S Central, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
R-S Central had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Last Friday, they lost to McDowell by a decisive 7-22 margin.
Patton also just played their first game, also were on the road, and also didn't get the result they wanted. They were given a punishing 0-49 loss at the hands of Huss.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
