Pioneer and Christopher are an even 4-4 against one another  since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will take on the Cougars at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Pioneer will be strutting in after a  win while Christopher will be coming in after a  loss.

Kassandra Andalon also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Pioneer  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 5.4  hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 10.8.
Meanwhile, Christopher lost  14-5 to Gilroy on Saturday. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.
  Melissa Lugo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  stolen bases and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Olivia Wilson, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Pioneer's record now sits at 4-10. As for Christopher, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
