The Erie Tigers pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Loveland by a score of 63-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (59), Erie still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Erie still got an impressive performance from Lucas Lee, who scored 19 points. Brayden Haan was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Among those leading the charge was Ryder Eastin, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Trey Olsen, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Erie's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8. As for Loveland, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-9.
Erie's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Loveland, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Thunderhawks at 6:30 p.m. Prairie View has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 6.
