The Belgreen Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Winston County Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Belgreen is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
Belgreen scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Carbon Hill, posting a 74-37 victory on the road. Belgreen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five contests by 20 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Winston County came up short against Phil Campbell on Monday and fell 52-43. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Winston County in their matchups with Phil Campbell: they've now lost six in a row.
Winston County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lynleigh Cobb, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 18 rebounds, and Emma Kate Veal who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. The contest was Veal's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Belgreen is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Winston County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
