They took down Our Lady of Mount Carmel 64-45. Given St. Frances Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while Our Lady of Mount Carmel is ranked 66th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Dahni Suggs was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 20 points, 19 rebounds, and nine blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Zoe Osby was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
St. Frances Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-14.
