The Texline Tornadoes can now show off 22 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wildorado 71-26 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Texline who now have 11 in a row.
It was another big night for Hayden Drumm, who went 9 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 33 points and 1 assist. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Joe Clay was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Texline pushed their record up to 26-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 86.5 points per game. As for Wildorado, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 25-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Texline will challenge the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hartley is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Wildorado, they will head out on the road to challenge the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pringle-Morse will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1274th, while the Mustangs are ranked 451st).
