Centerville had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They were given a punishing 6-72 loss at the hands of Colome. If Centerville were hoping for some payback for the 0-50 loss against Colome the last time the two teams met, then they were disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Centerville off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Colome a 1-0 record.
Next week, Centerville take on Scotland at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair. As for Colome, they will face of against Tripp-Delmont/Armour/Andes Central/Dakota Christian.
