Toll Gate's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Colvin, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Colvin has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Dylan Perreault, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 20 rebounds.
Times Squared Academy's win ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Toll Gate, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Times Squared Academy will be playing at home against South Kingstown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Rhode Island (South Kingstown is ranked 22nd, while Times Squared Academy is ranked 33rd). As for Toll Gate, they will head out on the road to take on Johnston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
