Covenant Christian and Park Tudor are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Warriors will face off against the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last six games Covenant Christian has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Covenant Christian's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Speedway, sneaking past 2-0. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly two runs.
Not much got past Nolan Guzman, who gave up just three hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Speedway off the board. Guzman has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
