Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The DuVal Tigers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell to Bowie 35-31. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
When it comes to explaining why DuVal lost on Saturday, one person who can't be blamed is Oforbuike Aneke. Despite the final result, he rushed for 60 yards and three touchdowns.
DuVal now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Bowie, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5.
DuVal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bowie will head out on the road to face off against Wise at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wise will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
