Several Bruins players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Khala Williams-Thomas, who scored 27 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Castator, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Fort Wayne Northrop's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Homestead, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-4.
Fort Wayne Northrop on the road again on Tuesday and play against Fort Wayne Snider at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Fort Wayne Snider and Fort Wayne Northrop are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Homestead, they will take on Fort Wayne South Side at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Wayne South Side will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 257th, while Homestead is ranked 18th).
