The Web of Wisdom Wizards had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Genesis Prep 47-8 on the road.
Samara Zabran went supernova for Web of Wisdom, scoring 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Juli Smallze, who scored 8 points.
Web of Wisdom's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Genesis Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Solid Rock Community the next time they take the court. Web of Wisdom will head out to face Solid Rock Community at 4:00 p.m. on December 12th, while Genesis Prep will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on December 14th.
