It was a good run, but George Ranch unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 70-54 to the North Shore Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 30th).

George Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for North Shore, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Coming up, George Ranch will be home for the holidays to greet Fort Bend Elkins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Shore, they will head out on the road to take on Nimitz at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
