The Ticonderoga Sentinels will take on the Plattsburgh Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Ticonderoga will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Ticonderoga is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Moriah with a sharp 29-2 victory on Saturday. The Sentinels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 17 runs or more this season.
Lillian Davis made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 5-for-6 with one home run, five runs, and five RBI.

In other batting news, Ticonderoga got a massive performance out of Isabelle Burroughs, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and two RBI. Those five runs gave Burroughs a new career-high. Avery Lender was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one double.
Ticonderoga always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .549. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Moriah only posted an OBP of .364.
Meanwhile, Plattsburgh lost 10-3 to Saranac on Saturday. The Hornets have struggled against the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Plattsburgh's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Ticonderoga, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
Everything went Ticonderoga's way against Plattsburgh when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Ticonderoga made off with a 14-8 victory. Will the Sentinels repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
